This is my second time staying with waves and wilderness. Doug and Rose are excellent hosts. This time I brought my family down from two directions and we spent the week on the beach and had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is perfect for large gatherings. The pool is wonderful when you get tired of that sand and salt. And there is not a bad view anywhere. We tried several of the restaurants recommended and they were very good . But the nights we wanted to sit home and cook. The kitchen is wonderful !! Thank you once again from the Wrights.

We had an excellent stay. The house was clean and just as described/pictured. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking/dining necessities, and the bathrooms had the basics as well. The hosts were available when needed and excellent communicators. (We had just a small hiccup in the beginning that was easily sorted.) We loved the somewhat secluded location and enjoyed the amazing view. The kids (and adults!) enjoyed the extras, especially the hot tub and air hockey/arcade game. This property was an excellent choice for our group of 14 and we would certainly stay here again. We had a fantastic stay at this home with another family. The house had plenty of space for all 10 of us to spread out and be comfortable. The large entryway was great for hanging all our gear after some surprise rainstorms. The theater room and game room were a big hit with both the kids and adults. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed, which made meals easy and enjoyable. The neighborhood was great for walking our dogs and generally quiet, which we appreciated. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely look to stay here if we’re ever in the area again!

What a great place to stay for family vacation! The view is beautiful and we really enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and nights by the fire! The kids were huge fans of the game room as well. The area falls are a must to experience. Screw Auger Falls, Frenchman’s Hole, and Step Falls are all stunning!

This property is very nice and spacious. Lots of room for everyone. The game room was fun and we were able to enjoy some time on the arcades. The large table in the dining room was also nice. We could all eat and play games together . The two washers and dryers helped out with the beach towels and swimwear . The pool was the perfect size to cool off in and have fun after a day at the beach. Lots of parking space helped as well. Doug and Rose were extremely helpful and quick to jump on a slight issue that we brought to their attention. We would definitely stay again. Very hospitable!

This property had everything we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. Great view of the ocean, and very clean, comfortable house. The area underneath the house with hammocks, a sitting area, and outdoor shower were also really nice. We relaxed in the hammocks for a while just listening to the ocean, very relaxing! We didn't have any issues and would definitely stay here again.
